With over 30 years' experience and expertise in the Automotive industry, we have worked with all the main OEMs in the UK, as well as most Tier 1 and 2 suppliers. 

We have provided Inspection & Rework services to almost all OEMs based in the UK & Europe over the past 30 years in locations such as Halewood, Peterborough, Coventry, Birmingham, Dagenham, Luton, Ellesmere Port, Stafford, Genk and Cologne.

Over 15 years experience in supporting engine manufacturing plants located in Dagenham, Peterborough and Stafford.

We have carried out Inspection and Rework services at our own facility for over 20 years.

Our Team

We have a very experienced Management Team, with the minimum employment being 5 years, up to almost 18 years service.

 

Over 85% of our inspection team have been employed for at least 2 years, and one person at Luton recently reached their 20-year anniversary!

We have always had our own in-house IT department, enabling us to design custom-made and fully integrated systems which have been developed specifically for our business needs and the requirements of our Customers.

Our own Accounts and Payroll & HR departments ensure that all invoices are processed in good time, and that our staff are paid correctly – in both instances we have a query rate of less than 1% based on the last 2 years.

QLS values its workforce, all of whom have experience of working in the Automotive Industry. All staff are employed directly by QLS everyone receives at least 28 days paid holiday (pro rata) and are auto-enrolled into the company’s pension scheme. 

We achieve good employee satisfaction which leads to high staff retention. Recruitment is carried out locally whenever possible and prospective employees are vetted for the required experience and qualifications. 

All our personnel have good verbal and written English language skills and QLS has the necessary skills to communicate with most international suppliers.

Certified by the British Standards Institute for the past 18 years, we are audited every 6 months for our ISO 9001:2015 accreditation and have recently successfully completed our recertification audit for the next 3 years.

We have held SafeContractor accreditation for the past 8 years.
